Definition of Conditional Sentences

Conditional sentences are sentences expressing factual impilcations or hypothetical situations adn their consequences. They are so called because the validity of the mail clause of the sentences is conditional on the existance of certain cumstances, which may be expressed in a dependent clause or may be understood from the context.

Condition deal with imagined situations : some are possible, some are unlikely, some are impossible. The sepaker/writer imagines that something can or not happen or have happened, and then compares that situation with possible consequences outcomes, or offers further logical conclusions about the situations

Conditional sentence legal definition is a sentence of a person of a crime which allow that person to serve his sentences whilst continuing to reside withun his/her community, subject to supervision and reporting, and fully recoverable in the event of breach of those conditions.

Conditional sentences. A conditional clause is a type of subordinate clause, most commonly introduced by the conjuction if or unless. Like most subordinate clauses introduced by a conjuction, the conditional clause can either go before the main clause, or after it
